KXTX-SD?

This morning when I went to a scan, I picked up 39 channels on Digital and 21 on Analog. But when I went through the channels, I found 2 channels on KXTX and 40.4. And the callsign said KXTX-SD... did KXTX go hi-def?

I see what you're talking about. I'm not sure they're offering anything in HD, but they're now showing at least 720p on their main signal. (it has the bars on either side of the picture) The secondary channel you mention is the standard def "stretch-o-vision" they used to run on their main signal. They might be feeding that for cable companies to use.

Telemundo will begin offering HD programming at the end of April -- so KXTX will have some actual high def programming in another few weeks.
