KYAF 94.7 NOW HEARD ON KMEN 95.3

A review of the FCC audio services site indicates KYAF is still a construction permit. It should also be noted that the FCC dismissed the transfer of the station from the old board of directors to Verne's new board, while the application of the old Linda Ross board to Lazer is still pending.
 
Hey I prefer listening to pirate radio when compared to the garbage that corporate owners pollute the airwaves with - more power to em ( just try to keep it under 100 watts folks)

As I said, I am in favor of un"licensed" radio operations - as long as they can operate without interfering with any other station. So, let 95.3 ride, to me it's a welcome addition to our local FM fare, though the "Chris Edwards' self promotion is almost as bad as the KMJ egoism, at least he's not war mongering. But, who is deciding who gets to play the 'pirate game' and who can't?
 
Yup. [EDIT] The station in Firebaugh no longer exists and has been moved to the Fresno area and Verne is now using both 94.7 and 95.3 since both stations in Firebaugh and Kerman are both silent. Big deal. But all of the other crap is just that. The only broadcast station that Verne owns is in the trunk of his car. Let the jerk play DJ by himself. No one is listening. No one can hear his bootleg station. Verne is just what he is. A want to be DJ without a real radio station. Poor idiot Verne.

KYAF 94.7 IS very alive in Firebaugh Ca and Yes the original owner Vern White and group were able to get a call letter change as well as finishing approval on the cp that was held up by their former attorney who had no $$$ interest in the station but none the less William Zawala got in hot water with his other holdings and because Vern and his cronies owned three stations that Zawala was the attorney for they were lumped into this Zawala mess. Verns group and his Wash Dc law firm that he hired have it sorted out.
 
The late Linda Ware was the origional owner and I still can not find anything in the FCC data base on KYAF or any other station being owned by Verne.
 
Jon if you notice it has always been owned by Central Calif Educational services which also owns KAAX and KNAC Linda ware was William Zawala's girlfriend and ONLY had interest in the KZPO 103.3 Lindsay Ca. If you look at the applications CVSC and Mr White and his board were and still are the original and only owners their mistake was to hire Mr Zawala as their attorney he never had any interest and/or ownership in any way of CVES or the stations he was simply the legal council. He was fired in 2005 by CVSC board of directors and they hired a new firm in Wash DC who they have had ever since.
 
Well, you can mark down norcalreps as a Vern White cover or groupee. The "owner" of 94.7 is the Central Valley Educational Services. KAAX in Avenal is NOT owned by the same non-profit corporation and never has been. Just because Vern White posts something -- doesn't make it the truth. And the 94.7 is no longer broadcasting from Firebaugh. KAAX is not "on the air" nor is KNAC - 93.5 in Earlimart.
 
Just to set the record straight KYAF 94.7fm is very much on the air! And another clarification SAM KAAX is owned by the Avenal Educational services a wholy owned sub of CVSC Inc. Which is Vern and his cronies. They have it streaming at www.kyafm.com.
Linda Ware NEVER was part of any of these!! The only connection is CVSC had hired Zawala as their legal council but fired him in 05.
