KYMS 106.3 The Progressive Years

Thanks for that info. You are so right! For those of us that didn't have a KROQ in our market, the whole college radio scene was playing all of that, across the US, and it was radio heaven. For music, I loved the 70's, but I really think that the 80's were even better, and if we look at the entire decade, I would have to agree that 86 - 91 were just fantastic years for alternative music. Come 1993, no doubt about it, the music industry was re-directing the musical direction (grunge), and radio almost didn't have a choice, but not to follow.
