KYNO is Boss again... for a day.

Why didn't they ask Drake to do the ID's - He would have. KYNO was his baby.
Not bad though...Hope they follow the Drake format for the day.

It oughta sound teriffic.

My understanding is there will be airchecks of all jocks from the Boss era. A current interview with the Boss of the BossJocks, Bill Drake, is scheduled, along with consultant partner, Gene Chenault, fascinating, fun guy. An attempt to get some words from Ron Jacobs (good luck. If it ain't about his streamer, wudaguy,com, he's thinly interested) is being pursued, and, as I mentioned as I began this note, many airchecks from a host of jocks who went on to their individual stellar 15 minutes.

Listen close and you might hear me in there somewhere. When I was at KYNO in the late 60s, I used the name Johnny Scott.

Word is that it starts at 7am. It will be streamed on KJWL's website.

I'm wondering if any of Bob Souza's aircheck collection will be part of the tribute to the great days? Was listening to a few of the checks today. The talent that went through KYNO was amazing. BTW, Novak was my PD - great guy.

Funny you should reply with a mention of Bob Souza, it was none other that I took the "Toppers Jewelers Time" que from.
