CC/LA Vet Julie Pilat is the new PD of Alternative KYSR 98.7

She was prretty much doing the job anyway, even before Michael Martin scooted off. Wonder if she'll continue doing music for KIIS? Will CC pay her more? Kind of doubt it...

Watch the station tank now. Julie Pilat is a MISTAKE! It's clear CCLA isn't interested in quality programming. It was Michael Martin who kept KIIS going and without him there overseeing the whole CCLA ship is doomed. Pilat is at the helm of a rudderless ship! Ivey won't be able to guide the way Martin did. Wait and see 6 months down the road. It's the beginning of the end for her career.

98.7 hasn't tanked yet and your hero has been gone a while now. I have friends over in Burbank and Mr. Martin is not who you're making him out to be. Oh and can you say Ozomatli? Yeah that HUGE mistake was his and while this more music morning show is doing okay it wasn't planned, because he didn't have a plan, other than to read the writing on the wall and look for a new job. Pilat may not be the right choice, time will tell, but don't give us this junk about Michael Martin being some visionary programmer.
