KYTE Newport OR deleted

The website ironically still states U 92 so they didn’t change the website at all. If they flipped it to KYTE as an AC or Hot AC then they will probably be forced to change it back to Country by the FCC.
He hasn't updated his websites since they were created. If you look at them they still have the template "ipsum lorem" filler on them. The FCC has nothing to do with what format he runs on any station. He can call it "The Kite" or "Kite FM" as long as he still gives the legal ID as KNCU.

Do yourself a favor. Point your cursor at the Jackindabox moniker to the left and click "ignore". Given all the volume of rambling, and nonsensical posts, life gets SO much quieter when you just can't see them anymore.

But this is like a car wreck.. you know whats going on but you cant help but rubberneck

If he doesn’t he will be in huge trouble with the FCC for sure.

no, he wont... they dont give two shites about the website except for wether you have a link to the public file up there.. and even then, if you dont.. its mostly a slap on the wrist

You seem to think that the internet is operating under the same rules and regulations as free over the air radio and television. It does not. Furthermore, the FCC lost the right decades ago to control station programming. The problem as I see it is that you are making statements with no knowledge of the facts and unwilling to accept them when presented.

I meant I’d he doesn’t use the call letters for the station he will be in huge trouble by saying KYTE FM instead.

He could say KYTE 92.7 all he wanted even if the calls were KXYZ and not get in trouble as long as he did the requried legal ID near the top of the hour "kxyz, newport"

I don’t think he will get into trouble for not changing the website but I don’t think he will change any website. They lied that they were working on the websites and then even refuse to have most of them streaming despite it saying “Listen Live” and got rid of KYTEs stream while they were operating it illegally. I think they don’t want people to know what their stations are playing at all unless they listen to the local radio in Newport.

That is basically true. Or the call letters at the top of every hour right now. I meant saying KYTE FM at the top of every hour ID.

I could say KYTE FM KSKO McGrath Alaska at the top of hour on my station and it'd be legal!

Listen while I explain this. Miller doesn't care about the website. He had a high school kid use a template they found on the internet fill in a few things and voila, they had a website. He's never cared about updating it. He doesn't know how to sell ads to support it. He put up a website because somebody said everybody else had a website. He doesn't have streaming capabilities because that costs money. He owes money to the bank, the Department of Labor, the county, you name it, he owes it. He probably owes money to a streaming service as well. Hell, he probably wears a fake nose and glasses and a ball cap when he leaves the house so a creditor doesn't recognize him. You're assuming that he cares about a website now when he's worried about finding someone to offload these stations to while he's still alive.

As far as the TOH ID, even Miller isn't stupid enough to say 'KYTE Newport' to identify KNCU.
