KYTX "Weekend Legends"

KYTX has run the first of its new promos touting its "Weekend Legends", with Judy Jordan, Scott Fossey, Roger Gray (I can't remember where I've seen him), and Chuck McDonald.

Really impressive....

If it's the same guy, Roger Gray was on TV (KDOG/KRIV) and radio (KPRC and others) in Houston for years.

It is indeed one and the same. His weekday gig is on KTBB-AM/600 Tyler. Wow...Hurley's pulling out the stops for the weekend.

Where was Chuck McDonald before CBS19? Wasn't he a managing editor for KLTV or KETK?

Anchor at KLTV and ND or some similar title at KETK.

If 19 is going to create any movement in the market there should be serious consideration given to moving the heavy weights off weekends and into the weeknight slots to beef up the news product. Confining the seasoned and name ID people to weekends won't pull the wagon.
