KYW 1060 overnight newscasts

I think that the overnight newscasts Monday-Friday from 10 PM until 4 or 5 AM in the morning on KYW NewsRadio 1060 AM should be all live again instead of recorded/automated/live that it is now. It doesn't make any sense to me that the station is doing this. If you want to keep up do date if news happens overnight, then it should be live all the way, not like it is now.

Didn't we already have a thread on the same topic a while back? Why is it necessary to state the same opinion every few months?

A: To apparently "boost" his quantity of posts.

Personally I love the people that take the time to do nothing more than "state the obvious." Some days this board is better than a shrink LOL

Happy Friday All... ;)

I know that but it is buried somewhere on this board and I wanted to re discuss this because it is important.

There doesn't seem to be anything to "rediscuss" in my opinion. It's simply a matter of economics...and cost-cutting...the overnight hours have the least ears...there IS a person on-board that can go LIVE if the need were to arise. The traffic reports are LIVE...and that's it. What else is their to discuss?

Of course there's nothing to discuss. However, Julius is under the false assumption that CBS Radio suits lurk here and/or actually give a crap about what's posted on the radio-info boards. He operates under the delusion that if he keeps bringing the topic up, he'll somehow influence change.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the reason topics que buried on the website when people no longer have anything new to discuss on the topic, so no additional posts are made on the thread and new topics slide above it?

Logic would suggest that you are right.
