KYW CBS3 fires Larry Mendte

This was posted on the Philly TV BOARD (where it belongs) yesterday. Julius, I think you are getting the Philly TV board and the Philly radio board confused! And yes, I know that Larry Mendte was on the Kidd Chris show a few times, but he still worked in TV.
 
This is a godsend for WTXF. Dawn and Larry at 5, 6 & 10, will change the face of local news. Fox local news in Philadelphia is anemic at best, compared to the other top ten markets. This is finally the TV 29 fix they need. Larry Mendte hits home runs with viewers, professional hacker or not. Besides, I have a slight inclination that viewers may be very likely to turn to a hometown anchor and a genuine local boy, that they think gets to the real story first. But that's just a sneaking premonition of mine. And think of the morning show radio tour promotion, for the real inside story. Once a local star, always a local star. Welcome to Philly.
 
Can we please put the CBS3 posts in the TV board where they belong? They have nothing to do with radio. So, she was dating Booker, big deal. It's like playing the Six Degrees of Q 102.
 
Isn't Larry an alum of WFIL? There's a radio connection.
