KYW...jingles again!

Are they still rolling out new stuff? I just heard a top-hour that is totally different from what I've been hearing since last week. (I actually don't like the one I just heard. LOL.)

Anyway...I see that lots of people read my post asking if old KYW jingles are posted anywhere. No one said anything though. So none of us have ever come across any of them anywhere? That's amazing to me! There are airchecks of a lot smaller, crappier stations all over the Internet...yet nothing from 40-year-old, major-market KYW? Odd!

I know one person that is likely to have a complete collection of KYW airchecks. He might ask you to make a pilgramage to New York to fix the audio quality on WINS's webstream though.

Are you serious? You actually are listening to KYW for the jingles? Whoa, and I thought I was a geek.

Are you serious? The ratings just came out and you're making stupid jokes like this on a message board? You are a geek.

I wasn't making stupid jokes. i was just making fun of you and the fact that you were actually monitoring KYW for the jingles. I'm sorry sir, but you dwarf me in the world of Geek-dom.LOL.

It might be a good idea to not present your oddly formed opinions as these "facts" that you speak of.

Personally, I think it's geekier to assume that someone who comments--on a radio message board--about a station's jingles is only listening to the station to "monitor" the jingles. In fact, it's worse than geeky but since I fear this thread will devolve into something that belongs on a whole "other" board, I think I'll just leave it right there.
