KYW Traffic is Getting Better!

For the past couple of months the traffic on KYW has been getting so much better!!! For a while the information was really bad, but I have not had any issues with the reports! Great job Sam Clover, Pat Winters, Rich Gunning, Mike Lankford, John Butterworth, R.J. McCay, Jim Hubmaster, Donna Bradley, and anyone else I missed. Thank you!!!! Matt

Seems a little odd that just last month Jim I mean Matt, that you posted something about Jim Hubmaster doing traffic. Yet then you didn't seem to know about Jim, Jim. Now all the sudden you know everybody there. Life just gets a little more miserable every day huh?
Nobody but me commented on the last one, because well ..no one cares about the goings on at Metro traffic in Philly. ;)

PS, Most corporate owned stations are not going to feed Clear Channel's bottom line. Expect to lose an abundance of affiliates in the next few months.

Thank you for thinking that!! Wow!!! Did you work at Metro or something? You seem real bitter about it? It looks like you are the one who is miserable every day? For the record. My name is Matt Johnston, and I have nothing to hide here!!! Just like you, I like to post about radio stations, and what I enjoy, and don't enjoy. Have a nice day!!!

Just like me? I think not. I continue to have much success in this business in America's top markets.

That is Awesome!! Good for you!! why in the hell you are making this ugly with someone you have never met is beyond me? What station or stations are you on? I would love to check it out!!!

Sorry I don't think that would be possible, as I checked the hours that you have done all of your 16 posts prior to this one. It appears you are too busy at your computer between 4 and 9 am. Or I guess not busy enough would be more accurate. Let's see....who would be at their computer between 4 and 9..those sound like metro hours to me.

It is not possible, because you do not even work in this business. America's top markets? WHAT A JOKE!!!!! I posted this at 6am, so I must be a Metro employee, because no one else in radio works these hours? WOW!!!! Your nuts guy!! post what you will, and think what you want. Have a nice life buddy!!!

Uhm, your earlier post said just the opposite, that you didn't work in radio. Just wondering which one it is, also wondering, since you said you didn't work in radio, why you would be up between 4 and 9? You think what YOU want to. Maybe you just get up at 4 am on the off chance you can hear the only Fill-in guy that you mentioned in your original post.

Since when do radio, or TV, folks have the monopoly on being awake during those hours?

They don't. I guess reading comprehension isn't a strong discipline of yours. If you don't understand a post, probably no need to comment.

Oh, that's right. It's the ever-so-much-more logical assertion that someone at their computer in the morning must be an employee of whatever organization you have an axe to grind with.

Please....just a variation of the old "if I disagree with you, it must be because you're an employee of [company x]." Among the most flimsy tactics in the book.

Scott, from what I have learned about you, discipline is not a strong point for you. You did work for Metro, and now you don't. Why is that? Well, I know why that is. Its good to be a reporter!!!! Scott Free, or should I say mcradiofree. or should, I say no radio Free? imhomerjay, this guy is bitter. Everyone who has a comment about Metro, this is what he does. Do not waste your time with him. He works in America's Top Markets!! HAHA!!

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. So we'll leave it at that. That being said, thank you for proving my point, that your original post was actually what I said. The only people that start threads on Metro traffic is you. Like I said no one cares. There are plenty of pros that do a good job there. You are not one of them. And neither am I , nor have I ever been a traffic reporter for them or any one else. Guess again. So who is more bitter, the guy that posts a thread in some kind of self-congratulatory exercise in futility, or the guy who calls that guy out on it. Take your lumps. It will all fade away soon enough. I personally have no axe to grind with metro btw, although I will say I have never heard alot of good about them as a company, and that is from their own employees. I don't know any of them from Philly, but I can tell you they are losing affiliates left and right in NY, DC, and soon to be Las Vegas, and probably Chicago. I'm from Philly but don't work there. That's why I keep tabs on the radio goings on there. Next time you're in Chicago look me up.
