The FCC has canceled the license for this LPTV. Interesting reading on their license status.



On November 9, 2023, the Commission sent a letter informing the Stations that absent sufficient documentation certain reimbursements paid to the Station did not satisfy program guidelines, and demanding the immediate return of $192,638.86. MGC did not respond or remit payment. On March 25, 2024, the debt and all accrued interest, penalties, and charges was referred to the U.S. Treasury for collection.

sounds like they got caught with their pants down and just decided to ditch things, hoping it would go away.

As you can see, its owned by a Guel... so that leads to fishyness right away
 
WAZX 1550 Smyrna has an engineering STA. Supposedly running a long wire antenna after IIRC the transmitter site was not included by the previous owner.
