KZII and KQBR reduced power?

Did Townsquare Media lower the power on these stations?

The past few trips I've taken to Dallas, the stations started fading out before I got to Ralls. The stations are barely listenable after you hit the caprock.

I can hear Mix 100, Rock 101.1, etc. MUCH farther than Kiss and Blake.

I used to be able to listen to KQBR and KZII all the way out to Guthrie.

Any reason why they have reduced their power?

Just ran an FCC query on KZII. Their coverage area is significantly smaller than it used to be.

Both stations had a transmission line burn and have been operating at reduced power. From one of their FCC filings, it looks like there was also a tower issue spotted, and the tower will have to be reinforced before going back to 100,000 watts. At this point, they're operating at 3,800 watts until the problem is resolved.

Tower Reinforced...will this have Any Impact on all the other stations on this tower?
