KZII MJ Tribute

They were playing bumpers in between MJ songs for an hour.

I could of sworn I heard one of the bumpers say,

"LITE FM pauses to remember......" followed by the Kiss FM jingle near the end.

Maybe Kiss is using some bumpers from Lite FM in Dallas? I don't know but I found that kind of interesting/odd.

at least at Gap KZII is doing a half-hearted effort even if they are using liners from Dallas, but, Kool is still Missing In Action, with Michael Jackson.

Yep agree'd. Either way, I thought the bumpers they played in between the songs sounded really nice. It's cool to see a smaller market like Lubbock flush their format temporarily to do tributes. Especially with Stars dropping Delilah.

Well spoken cspot!

it comes down to this... for a Program Director its "Programming 101", seize the MOMENT! Break the Rules if you need to, get on TV, but get your station NOTICED!
for a PD its a DEFINING MOMENT, you either pass the test or you fail to be PD material.

Its amazing to see the people come out of the woodwork saying that they knew him well. One lady was telling FOX or CNN etc... that she was close to MJ and never saw him taking meds.... then they ran a story later that night showing police walking out of the home carrying bags of meds.
