I flipped to 1570 last evening around 7 and heard The Phil Valentine Show. Then, this morning, getting the Joe Scarborough Show. I know Stan visits the board occasionally, just wondering if this is a permanent format switch, or if the station still has a Standards format? The website mentions nothing about talk programming. Wondering what else is on the schedule...

Okay, a little conservative for my tastes, but much more centered than anything KRMG or KFAQ offers. I will try to listen more often.
You all do a great job with KRVT and even if KZLI's lineup leans right, it's not the in your face I hate you, I wanna kick your ass crap on 1170 and 740.
Savage has been absolutely nuts lately when I've tuned over there. KRMG just isn't the same. Joe Kelley really made an ass of himself last week with his Adelson interview. Tacky stuff.
With the way Cox has treated its local employees, I wouldn't shed a tear if that place went all syndicated and shut down.
As for KFAQ, I'm not a member of an organized milita so I've stopped tuning in. What's Journal's stock up to these days?

That's what I'm shooting for. I think it takes a lot of listener energy to listen to the "we're all gonna die" angry talk.
I think Scarborough is a good model for intelligent talk. He's conservative, his co-host is liberal. While he espouses the party line, he refuses to go the route of some other talkers who will tell you that the nation is in the dumper. Rather than encouraging revolt, Scarborough advises listeners to trust the Constitution. That's refreshing.
Too many "haters" on the air. I won't add to that pile.
