When will KZLS take over the spot at 99.7 FM and I am curious to know what the format will be. Will they be hot ac or are they going to try something new?
 
My guess would be some type of plug and play format off the bird. Chisholm Trail owns:

Alva, OK KNID-FM
Cheyenne, WY KKAW-FM & KREO-FM
Enid, OK KCRC-AM & KFXY-AM

If I were a betting man, I'd go with Country. However this market has plenty already. I'm curious as to when they will sign on.
 
EZ listening gets great numbers but it's a hard sell. Very few advertisers want to reach the 60+ crowd. Now soft AC might be an option. I would like to see something creative go on that frequency, but economics dictate otherwise. If I were Jack or Bob I'd buy it and put those formats on, the signal has good market coverage.
