KZOK's Steve Slaton w/Ann Wilson

I've never sent a T and R to these guys. You get the impression that you have to sound like Slaton to even be considered. "The boss with the most..whatever.

But lets get real here. KZOK does well. I listen to them and, for the most part, the jocks connect.

Rumour I get, however, is that if you have some tone to your pipes you might as well forget about a gig there. All of there jocks sound reedy. There's no bass or baritone to a KZOK jock.

Go ahead and listen.

Except for maybe Gary Crow middays at times, but that's because of his age really: what, he's near or at 60??

I recall the great deep pipes of Terry McManus (Officer Groinman, etc)when Robin and Maynard were there...

Naaaaw, I kid Slaton here -- a great jock!
