KZON Makes Rhythmic to Top 40 Flip Official

Their numbers are already ahead of KZZP. Strange move. Well at least perhaps they'll drop their tired urban rotations and hopefully replace those ghetto DJs

Only the name / imaging changed. The current music is mostly, if not entirely, staying the same. All they really did was change the imaging to match what the format had already evolved to some time ago.

i don't think anybody really cares. they seem like an indecisive chick that can't make up their mind. leaning urban one month, then pop the next. Even the Djs are not fit for the station. They all talk as if it were Power 98, yet they are Intro songs like summertime sadness or britney spears

The people they now have on during weekdays (with exception to mornings) sound very top 40'ish. They did changes with on-air personalities. Their on-airs now make 101.5 sound like a full service pop station whenever they talk, especially the evening and midday time personalities. Albiet, the music can still be considered a bit rhythmic leaning. They do have some hip hop enthusiasts and hip hop sounding jocks during weekends and one in their morning show. As far as the music itself they've remained pretty consistent with delivering a pop leaning rhythmic sound. They've been far from urban.
