Lets get back to the point of the thread kzon needs to get rid of this format and flip back to what they were several years ago.I can only speak to what they were since 2002 and they were good. They would make more money and better numbers as long as they do it right start with the morning ritual thats what needs to be done kid and ruben will be unemployed soon enough not that i wish that on anyone they just mad e mistake going to where they are at now.

I agree that the format needs to be changed, but I dont think the old format will work, if the format worked it still might be here, I think Free Fm has a better chance of doing better then the format before Free FM.
Look at the edge, and that Zone played most of the same style music, and the Edge is on life support right now.
At this point any format is better the 1015 jamz.

There really was never a need to flip kzon it was all in the suits heads. There numbers were decent not great but better then the edge alot better and better sales at least the same as what they are now i bet. Alternative will always be a niche format but the mix of hot ac and alternative i felt worked well for kzon. But then they tinkered with the format brouhght in new people and long behold much to my dismay we now have jamz a real low point in radio for this city. The talk format was better.
So what does not mean anything we will see how long it continues. I bet not to long

It was tied for eighth in the latest Arbitrend, so I don't see CBS tamper with KZON anytime in the future.

Everyone keeps complaining about "101.5 JAMZ"
Personally, I don't care for that much rap, I only like the occasional rap tune and only if it has a message or a good beat.
But I Hear 101.5 coming from a lot of cars, so that tells me, they must have a lot of listeners.
And I hear a lot of people wanting KZON to go back to Alternative, PLEASE!!! Nobody in this town knows how to do alternative.

I heard them, when I was up there in april and loved it.
they stream online, they are local and independent also check out there sister station KHUM for an unusual format.
