KZPO Signal

"What happen to KINGS radio KZPO they are also gone."

I just got a couple new receivers - one a 20 yr old Denon component and a new Grundig G5 portable. They both are getting KZPO with a little antenna tweaking, (no outdoor antenna) while most all my other receivers (10-12 different ones) are a no go for KZPO here in S/E Fresno.

I wonder if they ever got their transmitter back to full power. All 260 watts.

No, I had the very same problem. I heard they are going to be powered down for awhile. Problems with FCC I hear.

From Clovis, I can get KATM 103.3 out of Modesto pretty good with my Pioneer Supertuner in the car.

I probably need to adjust my antenna ,In Clovis I'm getting KATT mixed with bleed over from KAAT 103.1.

The FCC issues were fully resolved last week with the renewal of the station license. It took 12 years for the commission to do it, throwing out the objections of Dr. Sandra Soho, who is now doing a 3 year prision stint for getting welfare benefits from the state of Oregon while "owning" stations in Klamath Falls. Her licenses were revoked recently, one of which listed a George Wade as owner. When located in Orange County and contacted by the FCC he told them he had no idea he owned a radio station !

I'm getting KPZO in Clovis on my stereo in the room behind the carport, which has a directional Ant. that I can change from the ground. It's receivable in the car on my Pioneer supertuner 3.
