Exactly. Like I said, I've worked for the same company as B&J before. They can be funny guys, but I don't think either one understands teh concept of self-editing. Of saying something quickly and concisely. Of doing a break that lasts 2 minutes instead of 5.
Because especially when you're on a 'music' station (as opposed to a talk station) you gotta learn to hit and run. Do 2 minutes and play a song, play spots, do traffic, whatever. Not 5 or 10 minutes THEN a song, spots, etc...

But it's not funny, if you do it in a "Church Lady" voice, for even 5 seconds !!!
