Does anyone know about this station? I'm told it's some form of AAA/Alternative Rock, but pretty much all of the website is "under construction" except for the main page.

More of a Rock format than AAA.

Their monker is "no rules just rock". T

They are a small station that serves Matagorda county (3000 watts I think). It's been up for sale for years. Numerous managers and LMA's have been in and out. Other than that, not much to talk about.

KZRC runs 6,000 watts with an antenna height of just over 300 feet; they had an application in the works to upgrade from a class A to a C3 some time ago but it didn't pan out. Here's their "service area" coverage map:

Not surprising at all, jras. That Gulf wind sends KZRC right towards you. KYKM is a bit of a stretch from you at only 3kw from Yoakum.

That explains I guess why I can pull in Corpus good as well? I can get Corpus a lot, clear sometimes. I can even get KHPO in stereo. Thats a great place for DX'n anything.
