Does this facility still exist? To the best of anyone's knowledge, did anyone bite on this $350,000 "bargain". Is it even on the air?
 
I live in Cabot. The last time I listened it was off the air completely. I heard that it was being sold or LMAed to a person in Little Rock. I have no idea what happened or if the owner that wanted to sucker...eer sale the station ever did.
 
The station was being operated for a while by the group that is operating KDXE 1380 and KTUV 1440. They recently purchased KDXE from Simmons. At the time they were running some sports talk shows and operating as "1350 The Drive", however when KDXE became available, all the sports shows went to the more powerful (notice I did NOT say better) signal. I don't know what their intentions for KZTD are....

That's right. The guy's name is Brian Bailey. He did some time in Crossett. I knew that at one time they did that sports show in Cabot. Then they were gone. Guess that explains what happened!
 
Actually we have switched kztd to espn deportes (1350) which went back on the air last week in cabot studios off of commercial drive
ESPN 1380 studios in Sherwood on kiehl
Our afternoon shows have been combined and we produce one morning show 6-10am called "The Big Pig Sports Radio Program". This show has chad hays (monroe, la market) and myself as hosts.

Tower at 1380 has a good signal and I have done a lot of work on 1350 and continue to upgrade/update equipment.
No, there was not any crazy offer made on kztd as mentioned above.

Scratch the above post. Both stations flipped to spanish music with no notice and obligations hanging.
Me and staff no habla espanol and have no desire to be a part if we did. Another sinking ship in the water.
 
Yup, another one bites the dust. I hung with them on the shift from Air America to ESPN and even with the local sports show. Now I'm an NPR fan.
