Budget cuts are the reason given for Steve Zanardi's "best of terms" parting from the CBS owned Hot AC, according to a report in Allaccess.com.

Zanardi was The Zone's night jock and former Shawn and Jeff morning show producer. Zone PD Max Miller is reported to be looking for a replacement.

Steve is a good guy, with a great sense of humor. I hope he lands soon, as he is very talented and would be an asset to any staff.
