KZZP Goes Back to Rhythmic Lean

Now it sounds like a sister station of WKSC. Although I do like the Gia Farrell and Snoop Dogg tracks they added, they are now slaves to DJ Unk, Dem Franchize Boyz, Baby Boy, etc. :'( They were sounding good too...

What they barely even gave it a month.

Oh well, they're still better then WKSC. At least they play Hinder and John Mayer

I think they sound better now. They still play 1-3 Rock hits in a typical hour. They just tweaked their sound a bit, and they sound more focused.
The change was imminent for a couple of reasons:
1) Ratings were down
2) Power's signal is now abysmal in some areas on 98.3, and it makes $en$e for Kiss to go after some of Power's listeners.

True about Power. The reason is that if Kiss doesn't know what they want, those getting pissed off listeners will switch to Power. But then comes the money-maker, if they can't $$ ge$t Power$$$ the$$y will $$$tick with$ Ki$$ (did I mention anything about money here?) Many people in Phoenix are rhythmic lovers (duh, see demographics) and Kiss wants to buy off those who can't get Power's signals.

For the listeners of the CHR only...
I know many people who hate radio in Phoenix, but really either they fill-up their iPod or switch back and forth Power and Kiss for songs they like. No one wants to do satellite radio, it really can get pricey if you buy the extra radios and subscription (but if you buy DirecTV you get it for free, heh =P )
