KZZP Picks Up Ghetto House Radio

Yes, I could've cut them down to one - if I remained logged in the whole time thinking "let me not post yet just in case something else I want to post comes to mind", which would've given me over three hours for my unposted post to time out before finally posting it all as one.

Also, they only did GHR at that time last night. The previous two weekends were regularly scheduled mixes followed by regular playlist music afterwards.

Not sure who was programming the shows last night, but the timeslots seemed to be off timing. Not that I'm complaining because I really don't care what time dance is played - as long as it is being played.

yeah it sounds like their stuff is out of wack. Good Ole Cookie Cutter (CC) Broadcasting. As you know, shows normally will start at the top of the hour, so I can't imagine any of that was intentional

Not to mention jumping from 3 hours of syndicated hit music mixes to syndicated house then back to local pre-recorded hit music mixing and cutting it all off around 1am or so.

Well I'm pretty satisfied with the way KZZP's Saturday night mixshow line up has turned out. Not exactly how I suggested the dj mixshow schedule line up, BUT they did end up only keeping the mixers and mixshows I suggested they use on Saturday nights.

They still have Ghetto House Rado sandwiched in between two mainstream mixshow segments, but if that means more pure dance exposure at a much earlier time, I'm all for it. At least Dj Earth isn't soft with his mixes, so it's not like after Ghetto House Radio, you hear the original version of Katy Perry and Bruno Mars in a mix.

Way to go KZZP.... Saturday nights sound a bit more organized now.
