KYSR doing well in LA. Sad to see the rock stations KCAL and KCXX don't do too well in the IE

Say what? KCXX beats all Rock stations in the I.E. 18-34 and 18-49 adults.

Rock listening in the I.E. is much lower overall than Los Angeles.

KCXX has beaten KROQ in PPM in key 18-34 and 18-49 demos for over a year despite KROQ having a stronger signal.

KCXX has also beaten KCAL 18-49 for nearly a year.

That's true. It does beat KCAL, but the numbers just looked low. I don't think KROQ puts out a strong enough signal in the IE to get decent ratings. KCAL has been sounding more like classic rock station.

I'm surprised actually due to the very small signal coverage, in which KCAL-FM is much stronger.

Look At KXol Has Lost 54% of their rating Since KAMP FM Wnt CHR/Top 40

Based on the fact that Spanish language / Spanish dominant stations target the Hispanic sales demo of 18-49, KXOL, compared to the last 6 months of 2008, is off by about 28%, not 54%. Still, a significant loss but not as big a one.

...and KYSR beats KROQ again. Does anyone else find this amazing? Other than Kevin and Bean, KROQ's ratings are not strong. Not. At. All.
Huh? It's still getting a 3.1. The station we should look at is KHHT, right? There numbers have gone down pretty big.

Beeswax is partially correct. KROQ overall still is a significant player 18-49 and 25-54 in the market. However, 98-7 is winning the music dayparts and KROQ sees drops as much as 50% after K&B leave the air at 10am.
