L.A. & RIVERSIDE-SAN BERNARDINO ARBITRON RATINGS: JANUARY 2011

KPWR and KAMP are neck and neck for the Rythnmic crown. AMP still needs something on the weekends because its boring.

KRTH pulling in strong at #3

KTWV is behind KOST but overpassing KHHT. Their tweak to Rythnmic Oldies didnt help. They should have left the 2000's rythnmic r&b currents in rotation. Hey Bryan your right I heard the KOST orignal jingles this past monday during your show. You guys got JAMS Production back good job.

I had no idea the Sound changed its direction. I thought it was AAA but its listed under Classic Hits. KLOS seems to added more 90's early 2000's rock.

KROQ is higher than KYSR. I havent listen to KYSR in a longtime do they have a morning jock or a more music focus?

KBIG and KCBS are both tied. I guess the boring Hot AC format is working. A few Top 40 rythnmic crossovers from Kesha, Nelly, Enrique, Mike Posner. Despite that most of the time I feel the station is all VT even Kari Steele and Valenitne sounds VT. I dont normally care for talk radio programs but I actually like sunday nights with Dawnson. I heard the show before on KJ103 in OKC its mostly for CHR radio but KIIS has their own thing on sunday nights.

KLVE is LA's Top Spanish station as always

KKGO is a bit higher than last period 2.1 last booking 1.9

What happen at KXOL they were pulling in a 2.3 in December now its 1.8 I was thinking of a comeback I havent listen in a while.

Exitos is 1.9 higher than December 1.4 now its 1.9

KDAY 1.4 share shows the station is still growing. Last time I seen that number close on a Urban station in LA was KKBT KRBV when they were in their Urban AC format.

Way below are KJLH, KKJZ, KJLL,KSPN, KLAC etc.........

I wonder what stations would improve around the next ratings

So, you see, the relationships in 12+ are very different where it matters. Most folks don't even look at 12+ when the numbers come out each week... which is why Arbitron gives away the monthly 12+ book numbers... that data has no value.
