L.A. Times Ratings Review Error

David needs to beat up the L.A. Times. In their review of the Fall book, they incorrectly listed KRCD and not the KRCD/KRCV - showing the station with just the KRCD number ... This is why the mainstream media needs to get someone who has a clue about our business to write these columns. Making a mistake about the No. 6 25-54 station in L.A. is a disgrace.

Thank you. Just fired off an e mail. However, the LA Times is one of my least-favorite papers, so I expect very little.

I'm not a fan of the LA Times either. I like the OC Register better, plus they've got Gary Lycan in Sunday's edition for radio news.

I've found over the years, that if I was personally involved
in something that got newspaper coverage (radio or other), there
was always a major, fundamental error in the story.
Corrections (if any) were usually in a small box near the classifieds! LOL
______________
but wait...there's more!

Granted I'm not in one of the majors, but if an error ever appears in my Torrance/South Bay Daily Breeze column, I try to highlight the correction as soon as I find out about it. For one, it makes the next week's column even easier to write ...
