La Bomba 97.5 has moved to 97.1

What puzzles me to this day is WERB-FM 94.5, the Berlin High School station. I've always wondered who authorized 94.5 FM? That's only 22 miles away from the transmitter of WYBC-FM 94.3 of New Haven. I also know that WMAS-FM 94.7 of Springfield, MA is barely 40 miles away from them. Here in New Britain's south end, I'm getting all three stations. There's some interference from WERB-FM on WYBC-FM. WMAS-FM is a bit noisy, but it's not from WERB-FM. I've always had so-so reception of the Springfield FMs. This was also the case when WERB-FM was on their old frequency of 97.9 in the late 1980s.
