LA CBS cluster.... Good, bad, ugly?

Hello all,

Hoping to gain an idea of the "inner workings"/staff/vibe/etc of CBS LA.

I've been in the business several years and I'm considering applying for a position @ this cluster.

That cluster always has similar postings on CBSradio.com every few months.

A. Is the turn-over just high?
B. Are they not staffing & just re-posting w/ different requirements?
C. Is there new hire budgeting issues?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it just me, or is this normal? I noticed on the amp radio site, there was a posting under AMP jobs, and there were looking for an on-air personality. Do other stations do this? Plus, I'm curious what time slot they would fill?

What type of position are you looking for?

I know in a few markets that CC and Entercom have actually
hired a few salespeople. Talent is a different story.

Either way, good luck to you.

They keep jobs posted for their EEO requirements. Most stations do it for jobs that can have turnover, so they could be considered legitimate jobs, even of there is no current opening, (on-air/voiceover, AE/sales, assistant).
