La Grande 99.3? can any one id this one?

Had a little weak dx last night between 12a & 1am caught an id on 99.3

La Grande 99.3

but i don't think this was the one from Guatamala as the entire stopset sounded like American PSA's in Spanish.

Any idea what station this one is?

Where are you located?

There is a "La Gran D", KDDS on 99.3 from Elma, WA (NW Washington state), so this could be what you heard. They run 41000 watts. Nothing else in the USA fits as far as I can see.

Then again, if you are less than 1500 miles from Guatemala City, it might have been them, although unlikely if they were indeed running American PSA's.

sorry i forget for 1 thing that you cant see profiles on here but i also forgot to say i'm in Memphis.... man thats a tough call i wouldn't believe it's washington state... and i can't 100% say that i heard psa's (my spanish vocabulary is very very small) but i heard no other spanish stations. I was in town near enough locals to make dx'ing much of anything pretty tough.....

If you're in Memphis, it's probably KVLD in Atkins, AR near Russellville. That seems far more likely than Washington State or Guatemala unless you had other insane Es action going on.

thats probably it... I know the conditions didnt seem or feel right... 99.3 is a clear spot when you are far enough from 99.7 (300kw) & 98.9 (100kw)
I usually hear a classic country station in missiouri I believe is KUNQ and occasionally WBVV Booneville/Tupelo MS.

I'm still impressed with the catch due to the conditions.. the band was clear and open when i heard them

thanks guys
