Did this station upgrade or moved closer to S.A? The signal is coming in extremely clear-1604/10. ;D

That would be great for me if they did! I can recieve KBXX like I am expose to in my area! ;D

The signal is still coming in strong. Anyways, I checked the FCC web site and there's nothing stating they moved the stick. Who knows? Just glad the signal is stronger.

Who knows whats going on, but I can recieve the Box KBXX now clear with them off where ever they are at now. I hope it stays that way.

KLTO is currently on our back up tower...we had an issue with our main tower, it will be back up in a few days. Sorry jras it will interfere with KBXX again for you. Plus, i've gotten emails from the Austin/San Marcos area that miss the station and want it back now! LOL ;D

I noticed the old tower was still up over at Cuero where KNGT was, is that one not in use any more? I thought that one would of been the backup? I'm going to get my old HD Radio going out there it has a good filter, I'll should be able to pick up KBXX with KLTO back on once I have it setup right.

I just still cant see how KLTO can be like that as close to KBXX as it is. I would think KBXX would still be protected in my area, even my 25$ walkman can pull them in when its set at local. not DX. I wish they could move KLTO closer to San antonio would make more sense.

Are they back to their main tower? For some weird reason, what ever they did to it during the maintainence, it worked, I can catch KLTO far better than before.

They are, I can recieve KBXX better also I guess they fixed the bug.

Are you in S.A.?

Nope, I'm in College Station. It is an open channel so I was wondering why I never received KLTO until now.

I have a question, which station (tower respectively) is closer to me? KLDE or KXTN?

KLDE is now KHTC ;D but here are the miles as a bird flies:

KHTC:
111 miles (179 km) (97 nautical miles)

KXTN:
148 miles (239 km) (129 nautical miles)

juan, can you actually recieve either station? I would think that Lonestar 107.3 would kill any hopes of you getting either K-Hits or KXTN.

Sorry, completely forgot about the call letter change, I still can't get used to them, I guess I am just used to KLDE over all these past years.

Wow, KXTN seems to beat this station and completely kill it. Yes, KHTZ (Lonestar)is there, but the JVC HD radio on my vehicle is very good. On the old GM factory radio, it is impossible to catch stations from anywhere including Houston. It is to sensitive and, for example, KJXJ bleeds into 104.1 really bad. With the JVC, I can get many stations. There is little problems picking up station that have adjecent local station. KNDE gives KLTY little bleed over (even though it is harder to catch) Same thing with KORA, I can listen to KVET and to a little of KTJM mixed in with KRXT. La Kalle comes in nice with with no problems(of course lots of drop outs around town with most of these station, but park in a good place and bingo). My favorite is KHFI and the 3 Jacks (KJXJ, KHJK, KJXK) and the 2 BOBs (KTWL, KBPA). If only they could make a radio just ith the same tuner as a tabletop radio. The sad part would be that there is still no HD radio around here except for KAMU and the mid-day KBME.

What surpirses me is that KLDE (I refuse to call it KHTC, NEVER lol) is a lot closer and has a taller tower and it is still beat out by KXTN periodically. At least I can still enjoy Oldies 93.9 from Corpus!

KLTO off the air again? This station is being very un reliable. ???
