Won't this hurt sister station KBBT the Beat? Or is the thinking that it's better to keep these listeners in the Univision family than let another company fill the Hurban hole?

Probably the latter. Plus they found a way to beat someone to the punch in San Antonio. From what I have heard from friends in the market they're keeping the english-language Hip-Hop tracks to a mininum so it won't draw listeners away from KBBT.
