La Kalle now playing their frequency swap

As of 7:04 pm, La Kalle is airing recordings of 105.9 being disconnected and trying 96.3 tonight at 8

Ok, a mixshow, I feel better now, oh FYI, W244AS IS simulcasting La Kalle right now, so I guess the translator is La Kalle's now.

I checked through my Time Warner Cable that channel 590 where they played WQXR has gone to static while the ads are still shown. What a dumb decision to pull the plug on that historic station.

"La Kalle" at the new 96.3 still doesn't get the signal at all! This sucks so bad!

I think the last radio swap here was when WQHT (103.5) swapped with WYNY (97.1) in 1988.

If I recall correctly, did that also happen at the stroke of 8 PM?

It was actually at 5PM, I believe it happened in September of 1988, from what I heard via Format Change.  Back then both WYNY and WQHT did a live countdown with their on air personalities to their swap.  WCAA just went to a loop instead of being live until 8.

La Kalle sucks anyway..It doesn't matter what frequency they are on....THEY SUCK!

Not gonna lie, I liked La Kalle when they were straight up Raggaeton, but then they just went downhill when they sounded like a spanish version of RXP.

Me too even though I don't speak or understand the language. I used to tune into their stream alot when they were all Reggaeton. Now I don't tune them in anymore. I just wait for the Regaeeton show on HOT 93.7 on Sunday Nights here in my home market of Hartford. There's also one in my market on Spanish Station WPRX 1120 on Saturday Nights, but its jockless. When it debuted last fall they had jocks. Then they took it off back in March. Now that it's back it's jockless.

For anyone that cares:

The Hot Regaeeton Show Sundays 7PM-9PM - http://www.hot937.com/

Saturday Night Regaeeton Saturdays 6PM-10PM (time Approximate) http://www.wprx1120.net/

To add, Vanna White did a "Wheel Of Fortune" letter turning ceremony to change the "103" to a "97". It was at 5 because I was working at Fox 5 as a page when I "participated" in the frequency swap; changing the dial from 103.5 to 97.1
