LA March 2011 PPM's

Ouch KCBS! I guess all of our complaining about the stale Jack Format isn't just on this board- as listeners are starting to tune out too, not that these numbers matter.

If they're starting to drop within the demo, though, how long until this starts to get reflected in the billing?

I noticed KRTH has taken bit of a dive, and it doesn't seem like adding more 80s to the playlist has helped all that much.

Surely KRTH is billing okay, but as 101.1's rating continue to sag could there be more drastic changes at KRTH?

In the 25-54 sales demo, the station is up compared with late last year. They are likely quite happy about the results.

What is the opposite of "dive?"

Yes, it is likely that they will continue to phase out the 60's and add more 80's given the positive results so far.

It's not your father's KEARTH or even your KEARTH anymore. It now belongs to the millenials. For the rest of you, congratulations, you're now officially OLD.

Maybe KRTH is cannibalizing Jack 25-54? Maybe on purpose so that they can have just one dominant Classic Hits station at 101.1 and move KNX to 93.1?
