La Mega airing Dance Mixshows

is it just my ears or is La Mega really spinning dance music right now. Im hearing david guetta's love is gone then kid cudi's day n nite crookers rmx and now yves la rock rise up. i believe the mixshow dj is alex sensation. can someone confirm this or is it just what im hearing online

La Kalle 105.9 used to have a freestyle mixshow.
I've heard dance music on 97.9 once before. If 97.9 has a dance mixshow now, it definitely is because of Pulse 87's existence.
You sure you're listening to 97.9 instead of 87.9 ;)

Latinos love dance music....I can certainly vouch for that! :D

I DO remember a time, during the first run of the coalition in 1994, that La Mega had put in some dance tracks in there to fill the void left by Hot 97 during the flip to hip-hop. I also remember Tommy Nappi, during that time, do a mix show on WLIR, which was still pretty alternative rock at the time. It could be a result of Pulse but I also think that since most Latinos like dance music anyway, that what they're doing is really an extension of what La Mega is.

I heard the mix show Alex Sensation did on La Mega as well. In addition, I also heard another dance mix segment at around 8:15pm, during the La Zona mix with DJ Lobo. Within two days, I heard a dance remix segment on Hot 97.1, during the afternoon drive with DJ Enuff. Then, while in LQ this past Saturday, during the Mega live broadcast, I heard a remix of 75 Brazil St featuring Pitbull, a reggeaton artist.

I heard that remix too, but it was somewhere else. The possibilities of how Pulse is making an impact to the big stations, and they say that dance won't work in NYC. :-X

People are def listening out to Pulse. Noone would have know who Kid Cudi was if it weren't for them. It's very interesting. I also heard them live from a club and it was all dance music for a good hour. I think the midday host brings a big Latino population in to listen. Its a big part of the nyc population and everyone wants a piece of the hottest songs. :-* the pulse mixshow djais are on point.
