LA/OC Board - Let's Arrange a Get-Together

In another thread this week, mention was made of get-together of frequent posters on the Houston board of Radio-Info, stating that quite a few people who only knew each other by usernames met and had what was reported to be an interesting time.
I think such a gathering would be a terrific idea for this Los Angeles board community. As there are many posters from both LA and the OC on here, I'd recommend selecting a location somewhere in between LA & OC, such as Long Beach or Cerritos. Who wants to take on the organizing chores?

I would only come if I could sit at the same table with Glenn and David E. I'm just an obnoxious listener, so I don't need to say anything (who cares what an aging rocker thinks anyway?), I just want to watch the fireworks.

Think of it. Multiple pages of "you don't know what your talking about" and "no, your an idiot, I know the major players involved..." and "You don't know how to read and Arbitron report do you?" and "I've been reading them as long as they've been published, in multiple countries I might add" can be condensed into a massive argument over a beer or two.

Might even save time.

Excuse me for one second for sounding like the teenager I am when I say this...ANY CLUB ON THE SUNSET STRIP! Who doesn't want to go there???

Uhhhh someone who lives in south Orange County and someone who prolly doesn't post much around 1:30 am ;D

Also someone who's been there (Sunset Strip) and done that!
 
I would love to join in on a meet! I would love to meet some of you, especially SuperRadioFan, ChannelFlipper, David at USC, David E., and Glenn (GASP! I know...).
 
I would be down to meet a few people at a Starbucks or something.

Josh used to try to set up some meets and I bailed out on the last one and I guess that was his last one.

To the R-I LA Board loyalists and prolific posters....
I am not sensing the enthusiasm for this idea outside of Neel, Kyle (OCRadioDude), and SRF.
Is there an interest in doing this or not?
Thoughts?
