Now that Big Boy's Neighborhood will be on Hot 97 New York( July 21), Do you think Emmis, will move Big Boy to New York?

Just because they picked up his syndicated show, doesnt mean they have to move to NYC. Besides, they just promoted others from within to the 5-7am slot at Hot 97. I dont think Big would go, he's an LA native, and so is everyone else on the show (I believe), dont think they would go across the country to do the exact thing they're doing now.

LA should be considered a more potentially profitable market than NY, since there is more advertising revenue spent here. Even though it probably only makes a sight difference at most since they're syndicated it makes the most sense to keep them where they're going to make money.

In most cases when a show is picked up by a larger market, they base it out of that station NY market 1, Im sure the Part Timers did not get a promotion but just more hours rather, from working in radio I'm 99.9 sure they were told to keep it simple.
