LA to Get A new CHR? Rumour or Truth?

Started hearing rumours that CBS was going to change formats to CHR in LA and NYC this week or very soon. Anyone hear anything about this? What stations would they change if they did?

Also heard Clear Channel would possibly respond to challenge by launching a News Talk on FM in New York. KSYR would go head to head against KROQ. Also put an Urban in Atlanta and bring back an AC in Dallas.

Wanted to find out if anyone has heard anything about this or if this is all rumour mill.

We have an AC format here (KVIL).

I believe that the poster is suggesting that, if CBS puts on CHRs in NY and LA to compete with Clear's CHRs, that Clear will "retaliate" by putting on an AC in Dallas to compete with KVIL, a CBS property (among other moves).

Who would try and compete with KVIL and what Clear Channel frequency would it be?
 
Seems like 97.1 The Eagle or Mix 102.9 are pretty expendable at this point. I can see Sunny 97.1 returning. Funny thing... when you enter www.sunny971.com you get this list which contains Employment and then Lex & Terry. :D :D :D
