KPFA in the Bay Area is Pacifica's best station. I compared their newscasts to KPFK, and KPFK's presentations of their both midday and evening news flat out suck.

KPFK has been disorganized and chaotic since long before Eva Gloria's arrival. She's just been carrying on a tradition of anarchy that has long existed there.

Pacifica needs to put KPFK out of it's misery and sell the license to someone who can take proper care of it.

But to whom? UCLA? Pepperdine? Church of Scientology? David Geffen?

Oh yes, I know. It's worse over at WBAI which is in hot water for airing racist rants against a NYC citycouncil woman who was a supporter of the station!

Supposedly the stations are worth $100 million+ they need to give over themselves, sell one of their stations, earn some money and give it to KPFA or one of the programs like Democracy Now! or Free Speech Radio News. But no, they like to spend the stations money on taking vacations and give the false illusion they are they only alternative voice.
