Labor Day Mixing...

Anyone mixing all weekend...I see WGCI in Chicago has already started as of 12 noon EST. (I listen to WGCI on XM/sirius) but im sure 93.3 the beat here in Jacksonville will play the same mix 3 times this weekend...lol anyone else?

Hot 97 NYC
Power 105 NYC
WBLS NYC
Power 99 Philly
Jamn945 Boston
Power921 Richmond, VA

Believe it or not, KMJQ here in Houston is actually mixing all labor day weekend!!! And it sounds good too.

97.9 The Beat here in the DFW is doing the Labor Day Mixmaster Weekend.

I've noticed that V-103 has been doing its usual holiday weekend mixing during their normal weekend mixshow times intermingled with them airing live club broadcasts since Friday night. WPGC in DC is doing the same.

OMG!, 97.9 is doing something I haven't heard them do in a long time. They are broadcasting live from a club.

Nothing special, the usual lineup. I like DJ Teknology though. Baby Yu is getting overated! The old V-103 mixers were great when DJ Cowboy, DJ Chip and DJ Herb touched the turntables. Even Frank Ski is decent at blends and mixing.

Honestly, I'm not really into mixshows much if at all these days, but I actually enjoy DJ Baby Yu for what he does during the regular mixes. Him and DJ Kash are very similiar in style (mixing pop stuff with old school and contemporary urban music), so a lot of times I get them confused unless I heard the intro. Baby Yu's style is unusual for the market, thus his popularity with the station and area clubs. Mainly because aside from the pop stations, nobody will do what him and Kash does with mixing in contemporary pop.

The other DJs on the station's roster are usually on tour (like DJ Infamous), but I've heard most of them on the "9 O'Clock Mixtape" on weekday nights.
