hi....I was going around the dial and found a good special on CHUM FM

They are playing a "way back in the times" weekend which is music from the 70's, 80's and 90's....if anyone is interested, please let me know as I am going to make a few tapes today.

Eveything else is the same on the dial in Toronto this weekend.

Chicago:

92.7 WKIE/92.5 WDEK/99.9 WRZA (Variety Hits) are doing "Pay for play weekend" for the hurricaine victims. Last night they played 50 Cent and followed it with a classical music piece.

93.9 WLIT (AC) is doing a flashback weekend with 70s and 80s stuff. Mostly disco/etc with some New Wave. Even some Van Halen.

Milwaukee:

94.5 WKTI (Hot AC) is doing all 90s

99.1 WMYX (Hot AC) is doing Top 10 weekend with different top 10 countdowns of various themes in music (Songs with Heart, Summer Songs, Movie Star singers, etc)

103.7 WXSS (Rhythmic leaning CHR) is doing an Old School Jamz countdown. Def Leppard, Cyndi Lauper, Bananarama, Britney Spears, *NSYNC, Hanson and other non hip hop stuff is part of the countdown.

I got some of WLIT's stuff on tape last night. Radio signals have been very fuzzy in here for some reason so idk about getting clear signals. Its not happening on any of my other radios but the one that can record so I'm probably gonna have to get it a new antenna or something. I think part of it broke off (Its a wire antenna)

Rolling any audio? Just wondering...

For the discussion...Q104/Cleveland doing a "Summer Party weekend". Playing all upbeat stuff from the last 25 or so years, no real focus.

Haven't had time for much radio this weekend, that's about the only one around here I know (if there even are others doing anything)
