Our '76 Gremlin has more punch than what Nurse Jeff and I've heard so far on Power 98.3. Star 97.5 must be on Viagra 'cause that rimshot has better coverage from the same location. And wassup with Power 98.3's processing? When you flip from 98.3 to KT'R-FM 92.3 it's like going from a Cessna 152 to an F-16. Yo bro..how my homies gonna listen ta dat?

POWER 98.3 SOUND

Not a single reply after 282 reads? With so many posters guessing every change possible to technical parameters not even close to the real world I would have though "the sound of a station" would have been topic-of-the-month. To set the record straight, I got my hands on 98.3 for the first time September 5th. My box is 103.9, but Jerry Davis is leaving Power and my life is "Alternative/Hip Hop" for a while. If you've got what it takes apply at Power now. 98.3 was dialed-in to fulfill FCC legal then turned-off. I cannot change the ERP or location, but I will get the sound on the map the day after equipment arrives. As for 103.9, you are listening to a dead-stock Orban 8100, release=6, clipper=+2. Lightning cooked the 8400 a few days ago. Anything with memory or that boots-up is at risk with lightning. I need an 8100 for 98.3 as well. Let me know if you have one for sale please. By the way, KDKB 93.3 was my 1st button.
