Ladies and Gentlemen....the My Network TV Logo!

It sucks. Plain and simple.<P ID="signature">______________

I'm sure many will say this.. but it's obviously better than the CW logo.
The name is better than the CW too.

I think this service has a better chance for long term success than the CW simply because the programming will be inexpensive and may develop a loyal following like other soap operas.

The only fly in the ointment about this is the fact that many of the Fox owned stations that will run this thing will also pre-empt it many times to air baseball and hockey games.

In Dallas, KDFI airs 30 Dallas Stars games and 60 Texas Rangers games a year. Most of those games conflict with the My TV schedule. Fox won't be shifting any of those games over to other stations either.

Not to be confused with WZMY-TV 50 Derry, NH (and I believe there
are other stations out there calling themselves My TV somehow)

I also think it's a rip off of WGN's logo. The font of the "CW" and "WGN" are very close if not the same, and both logos are submerged by a dark blue box (WGN's fits with the calls where the CW's is oversized like GSN's logo). Obviously, no one was thinking outside the box when they created The CW's logo. No originality whatsoever and, I'm sure, millions of dollars down the drain.

Since WGN is going to be one of the CW affiates, I don't think that's a problem. However, if anyone is interested in what a CW affiliate might look like, www.cw56.com is already under construction...

I looked up some of the whois info for these www.cw##.com domains and looks like they were registered by people trying to get money for them and not the owners of the new CW Stations.
