Ladies And Gentlemen, Your 2011 "DWTS" Contestants

As someone pointed out, we are no longer dancing with the stars, we're dancing with the HAS BEENS who are trying to make a career revival.

Much like IDOL this show has run it's course..........crystal ball sees fewer watching with this lineup.

Has it ever been with "Stars"? Most people like to call anyone that goes on these shows has beens anyway. Alot of people think the only "stars" are A-List stars, and everyone else is a has been....we're a nation, if not world, full of negative people and when we do have something positive to say we dont say it. Just from looking at the list, I would say the current stars IMO would be Wendy Williams (even though I hate her), Chris Jericho, Kendra Wilkenson, and Hines Ward as they're all currently doing something. But ask most other people and most of these are has beens and the others were never weres

Kirstie Alley would be the most recognizable of the bunch, though, what with her time on "Cheers."

Is she still doing that "I'm Fat" reality show?

Something had to become the equivalent of The Love Boat and Fantasy Island for this generation of has-beens. D-list actors and retired athletes need jobs too. ;D

I think this Dancing with the Stars for Psycho Mike is just a step away from Mike being the next Bachelor on the hit ABC show

Anyone noticed that the stars of the movie "Just Go With It" got a little too much face time on "the row" that week in Dallas? You'd think NFL Network was producing it!

I guess he couldn't cut it as Regis' replacement... ::) (He was one of the "Men of Radio" alternating as co-host with Kelly Ripa that week.)

Wow, that's a bad list even for THIS show.

Half these people I don't recognize at all. Who or what is a "Psycho Mike Catherwood"?

I'm so unimpressed, I'm not going to bother to hit Google.

"Psycho Mike" is based in L.A. He's the co-host of "Loveline" and does other radio work there. And I only know that because Tom Taylor wrote it in his newsletter. Oh, and T-squared says that Mike's participation in "DWTS" is "good for radio."

Yeah, I cheated, and looked up "Psycho Mike". I only remember the name at all because he was in the "sub for Regis" rotation on "Regis and Kelly" (and I don't really watch that show, either, so I don't know if he made it or not).

But really...a local L.A. radio guy who managed to take the microphone next to Dr. Drew?

He's also on KROQ's "Kevin and Bean", recently syndicated, but he isn't even the highest profile "third banana" on that show. That'd be Ralph Garman ("Family Guy", "Joe Schmo", etc.).
