Lady Jade: Traffic reporter?

I've noticed lately that Lady Jade has been doing nothing but traffic. The rest of the time, the only voices I hear is DeDe, Skip, Sam, and Chris. I don't even hear Fly Ty anymore. Has Jade been demoted? Has DeDe taken her spot? You know she need that gig since the Doug Banks show is coming to a close. Who's got the 411?
 
One more thing. DeDe is even doing Jade's segment, "The Lowdown". Wow!

Yes Lady Jade is only doing traffic now and Fly Ty was shown the door! Ty was the last holdover from the B.J. in the morning show on KRNB which debuted in 2004 and lasted until KRNB put Steve Harvey on. You have to admit Dee Dee is way more talented than Jade. Never really knew what Ken Dowe saw in that kid!
 
So is this the work of Mr. Erickson?......
 
I would have loved to have seen Lady Jade's face when they broke the news to her. She probably called DeDe all kinds of B's and H's! LOL!!!
 
I know, I kinda figured it was a move by Michael Erickson. He's made quite a few changes since he came in the building with the morning show on K-104 and the mentioning of the frequency on KRNB from 105dot7 to 105point7. I wonder what other changes are coming to the stations.
 
Sounds like the changes are for the better. I am so glad that Jade is not the main counter part. She seems like a sweet person, but she is a bit too "ghetto" and does not speak proper English at all.

I guess the new changes include the music? I've noticed that they are mixing in more r&b and less dirty south rap.
 
I agree with you about Jade. She is very judgemental and critical of people. I will never forget the time she said that Miles Austin of the Cowboys was cute, but his teeth were jacked. Now everytime I see that dude, I think about that.

You know, I never got why they hired her.

Did you listen to the show this morning? It sounded like Jade and DeDe may have had an on-air dispute. I'm not sure what happened. All I know when I tuned it around 8:20 or so, Jade was telling DeDe to leave her alone and to get out of her room. I hope they post it on their site.
 
Yeah, I think since Jade is strictly doing traffic now, she's in a totally different room from the rest of the crew.
 
I noticed she is now part of the weekend lineup, which has changed. Domino is coming on earlier.
