Lady Soverign "Love Me Or Hate Me"

Heard it on 96-5 KISS FM Cleveland and here in Chicago at 103-5 KISS FM. The females will like it because it is a female anthem like Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl". Lady Soverign has been called the female Eminem, shes from the UK and became a part of Jay Z's record label in 2005. I like the song.

What are your thoughts on this song?

Anyway, about the song, it's pretty good. WKQI here in Detroit has been playing it for almost a month now, and it should do well in other markets because, I agree, it is kind of a "ladies anthem". It is also featured in the new LG Chocolate commercial; this song is definitely gaining popularity quickly.

Sarai was a bad joke. All image and no substance. On the other hand, people seem to have nothing but good things to say about Lady Sovereign. I have yet to hear anything from her, but since I'm a fan of British hip-hop (Dizzee Rascal, Roots Manuva, etc.), I think I'll probably like it.

And what does Ak'sent have to do with this? She's African-American. We're talking about white-girl rappers.

1. The song sounds JUST like "Zingy" without the Beenie Man.

2. So far it's peak is 57 with a gain of 130 and dropping. That doesn't at all classify working.
