With most of the focus on NOLA I'd be interested to find out about other LA markets. Why not start down the road a few hours in Lake Charles. What's the market like? Who are the players? What stations are the best/worst? Why?

Most of the talk is in New Orleans or Baton Rouge as most of the action happens there. We do get some market moves from other places... But mainly the New Orleans/ Baton Rouge Corridor.

Two biggest players are APEX and Cumulus with some market penetration from Clear Channel in Beaumont.

Pittman (a regional from The northshore of New Orleans), and a few others own the rest.

Market conditions over there I'm not too sure on as I'm not from the area.. but pretty much smaller market (150k people) and most stations are polished but still have that small town sound to them sometimes like most markets of that size have (this is a opinion from listening about 2 years ago)

Pretty much country, oldies, and urban AC own the market. But on best/worst etc.. you need to ask some others...
