Lake of the Woods Reception

So up around Lake of the Woods on weekend nights I've been hearing a French station on 89.9 with a fascinating mix of alternative music. Any ideas where this is broadcasting from?

Winnipeg. CBC Espace Musique. 61 kilowatts.

Interesting. 89.1 Radio Canada (CKSB-9) from Fort Frances, a 50 kW station, makes it into Duluth about 150 miles away on most summer nights, albeit with a weak signal. (If I hear anything else on 89.1, I get very excited). The station relays Winnipeg's CKSB, an AM station, and is very much unlike anything on American radio.

I think I've heard Espace Musique from Thunder Bay driving down WI 13 on the South Shore of Lake Superior. Very odd format.
